Chile is located in South-America,
with a population of 15.5 millions
of habitants and its capital,
Santiago, has a population of 4.6
millions.

Chile is an excellent country for
organic agriculture; unlike most of the
world, Chile is blessed with natural
barriers.
It is protected by the Andes Mountains
on the east, the Antarctic ice
cap to the south, the Pacific Ocean
to the west and the Atacama Desert to
the north.
These natural barriers isolate the
country from plagues and disease, as well
as creating valleys which have experienced
little human intervention.

Among Chile’s advantages, is the fact
that the seasons are reversed from the US,
so marketing is complementary rather
than competitive.
